I found this app when I was one day in from quitting and let me tell you it has helped me tremendously! I also love the Facebook community they helped me through some challenging moments I had in the process. I highly recommend this app if you are planning on quitting smoking or have even quit.
This app kept me motivated which is everything when you’re quitting. I’m still putting in my bank account 372.00 a month! The first month that I didn’t buy cigarettes, I calculated $12 per pack (rounded up) for 31 days (loner month) and the number was 372.00, and that’s how much I’ve been putting in my bank account. I’ve gone in two trips to Florida on it and I’m going to keep doing it. Again, it’s all about the motivation even a year and half later.
I have decided to use this app to help me quit vaping. I’ve been vaping for about 7 years, and have noticed a lot of negative changes it has had to my health. I was really enjoying the app until I scrolled down to the missions tab, and saw that in one of the pre-quit missions the app actually RECOMMENDS you to vape instead smoking cigarettes as a NRT. I found this to be extremely harmful information, especially it saying that it is “way less harmful” than smoking cigarettes, and “not as addicting”. As someone who has been vaping for 7 years, I would not tell anyone to take this advice, as vaping can be just as addicting if not MORE addicting than traditional cigarettes due to its availability. Please developers, change this immediately. Inhaling anything other than air into your lungs is not something you should be recommending to people trying to quit.
I love watching my progress, and all the amazing facts I’m learning! Plus really great support groups with real people and I love the check-ins!

This is only designed if you plan to quit cold turkey, despite the description. If you mark that you smoked it doesn’t even reset the counter for the withdrawal symptoms so all of your messages still act like you’re on day 5 or whatever day you are on since clicking start. There is no guidance to help wean you off.
Love the app and helping me see the benefits of quitting and I can use my savings for fantastic vacation!
I love this app because of the support group forum. Everyone shares the journey they are on while quitting and I love reading how other people are doing. I also love sharing how I am doing on my journey sometimes people post pictures of the food they’ve been eating or things they do instead of smoking. One time I found a post of a breathing exercise lol this is a great app. Another feature is that it has a time calculator of the health improvements so I have things to look forward to on my health journey. The app is great. It also calculates how much money is not spent on smoking. I have used other apps too but I would recommend this app.
I love how this app keeps track of how long I have been nicotine free. Seeing the amount of money so am saving is crazy!

I was a 14 year smoker who smoked about a pack a day… and I haven’t had a single drag since downloading Smoke Free. However, this wasn’t just the app. Having a real life accountability buddy was everything (however, I did join this app prior to any chat/Ai being super prevalent). The app gamified things which was certainly a motivator! I am also a person who appreciates data and trackable progress, so being able to quantify the changes to my habit was very cool. The financial tracking aspect (most of the tracking, really) was as jarring as it was rewarding. This was a fun party trick to show friends to encourage them to become quitters as well. If I were at then beginning of my journey, I would want this to be more like Duolingo where I am really able to engage in something besides smoking (rather than just journal about it). But ultimately, thank you. Finally deleting this app after 5 years. I appreciate all you’ve done/tracked for me <3
This app is a God send. I am 9 months smoke free and I honestly don’t think I could have done it without the help of this app. I feel so much better about myself and I am so proud that after 34 years of nonstop smoking, I am finally free from this addiction. Thank you to the inventors for helping me to beat this addiction!
Almost 3months smoke free
This app helps to map the daily progress leading up to and after you quit smoking. As a visual person this has helped so much! The missions and the ability to use the note sections as a diary or to be able to vent frustrations is awesome. It helps keep your mind and fingers busy if you use it correctly! I will highly recommend this app! Thank you for developing this app!

I can honestly say this app was of great help in getting me to quit smoking it’s been a year and half now and going strong.
I haven’t fully quit but it is useful to have the reminders to fill out the diary. I have gone a few days with out smoking but when stress hits, it’s hard. Just need to find a way to pass the urge moments.
It’s extremely motivating seeing all my progress laid out for me. I quit smoking on a whim, I wanted to see how long I could make it because all my friends have made jokes saying I couldn’t go two hours without a cigarette and this app has helped me stay off for 3 weeks already.
I can’t use this app from the beginning I can’t sign in , it says: an internal error occurred. I don’t know if it’s because of sanctions and the area that I live in. Please fix it for me.

I love this app because I can see how much time has passed since I quit, it shows some major health things & about when those things go back to nearly normal or normal. It helps me to see that my breathing is back to normal because it helps me not smoke at all cause I don’t want to go backwards on the health benefits of not smoking. I wish there were more of those with more detail but I find what is given very helpful. The achievements showing how many cigarettes not smoked etc also help me a lot. It shows how far I’ve come.

Please do not get this app unless you are going to use it without the subscriptions because the subscription keeps getting restored on mine and I just canceled it and it is still charging me so what the hell😤.
This app has been great! Helps you keep track of craving to pin point which events cause you to crave the most. Tracks how much money you save and the health benefits along the way. Also gives you encouragement along the way.
I usually don’t agree with most motivational apps, but this is the rare exception. Once I made the crucial decision to quit smoking on my own, this app has been extremely beneficial in assisting my quitting journey! I found the money saved, health conditions update, and daily missions the most useful to keeping me on track and reminding me of all the positive benefits on the why behind it all. Would highly recommend this app to anyone seriously considering quitting!

While I love the app .. one thing they changed is Cora… she doesn’t send fun exciting and engaging gifs and memes anymore.. she’s boring now and the app isn’t as good now

It’s tight I don’t smoke now
Back in 2021 this app was extremely helpful in helping me quit cigarettes, now I’m trying to quit smoking something else (that’s not quite legal in all 50 states just yet) and the quality has fallen out the bottom. Especially with the quit coach Chatbot thing that sees if you have time for a check in, when prompted to choose between, I’ve smoked a few puffs or I’ve smoked five or more for… 1. It will assume you have checked in within the past week 2. it will think that you selected the more than five option. This is extremely aggravating for a chat feature that’s supposed to help you quit and not make you more aggravated and drive you further towards wanting to smoke
I’ve quit quite a few times but this time it was so cold outside I said I’m not gonna do this anymore and I just threw them away and that was good. That’s all I did and I’m still not smoking.
This app has been great it’s only like $1.07 USD to get the premium version or whatever they call it and it’s great it. My favorite feature is that it tracks like how long until my circulation is back to normal and how long until my lung function is improved. This app also kind of scared me into actually not smoking which I didn’t know was possible. So thank you

This app is really great! For me, the milestones are what really helped, and what I continue to check in on when i remember (because I often forget I’m not smoking now!) I’m 3 months free, and this app was a great part of my quitting strategy. Again, I still reference it occasionally now. Explore the milestones! :)
